The Trades Exploration is a pre-employment training program designed primarily for newcomers to Canada. The 4-week program covers information about finding and keeping a job in the skilled trades, including: understanding the apprenticeship process, preparing for the Certificate of Qualification exam, labour laws and regulations in Canada, understanding what Canadian trades employers look for in a new employee and resume and interview preparation.
Designed to build immediate competence, our Technical Training program is an intensive 8-to-12-week course covering seven foundational modules of home building and renovation. Participants receive immersive experience working with professional hand tools, power tools, and modern building materials. This pre-apprenticeship pathway ensures graduates possess the real-world skills necessary to excel on the jobsite from day one.
